CodeRED® Uses
Any message regarding the safety, property or welfare of the community will be disseminated using the CodeRED® system. These may include AMBER alerts, notifications of hazardous traffic or road conditions, boil water advisories or evacuation notices.
Citizen Certainty On Contact
CodeRED® updates the System several times a year using multiple national phone listing databases and current 911 Center data. If your phone number is unlisted, you have recently moved, or if you only have a cellular phone, we may not have your information. Even if you have a listed home phone number, you should still register. To add your contact information to the CodeRED® system, go to the
Community Notification Enrollment page.

No Extra Pay
CodeRED® is entirely paid for under a grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
CodeRED® Call My Place of Business

Community Notification Enrollment page. When the Residential Data Collection form opens, click on the button labeled "Click to Switch to Business Data" and fill in the required information. Please note that emergency calls can only be delivered to a direct dial number. Automated attendants will disrupt the process and calls will not be delivered.
CodeRED® App
CodeRED Mobile Alert AppYes. The CodeRED® Mobile Alert app can be downloaded for free on Google Play and iTunes. It provides advanced, real-time, hyperlocal alerts to subscribers within the reach of a given location generated by public safety officials across the United States and Canada. The CodeRED® Mobile Alert app also comes with a complimentary 30-day trial of CodeRED® Weather Warning, a program that sends subscribers mobile communications when they are in the projected path of severe weather in the United States. The CodeRED® Weather Warning add-on is an additional $4.99 per year but is not required to purchase to receive emergency, general and missing person alerts.
