COVID Vaccines are available on Mondays and Thursdays when the Imms Clinic is open on a Walk in basis (8am - 11:30am & 1pm - 4:00pm). However, if someone has certain restrictions, we ask that an appointment be made in advance. We continue our efforts to provide the highest quality services to the community as possible
Jackson County Health Department (JCDH) offers a full array of vaccines to children, teens, and adults. Our clinic is a walk-in clinic and requires no appointments.
New Immunization Clinic Hours
Beginning the week of June 1st, the Immunization and Sexual Health Clinics will be open for appointments on Monday and Thursday (IMMS) and Tuesday’s (SHC). Download the flyer which contains guidelines on how the process with work.
Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program
JCHD participates with the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program that provides free childhood vaccines to eligible children. If your child is birth through 18 years they can get free VFC vaccine if they:
- Are on Medicaid
- Do not have health insurance*
- Have health insurance that does not cover vaccinations*
- Are American Indian or Alaskan Native*
JCHD also has special vaccine programs for adults 19 years and older who are uninsured or under-insured.
