The Board of County Commissioners is a nine-member governing board elected at-large to represent the citizens of Jackson County to ensure the future of Jackson County.

Jackson County has one Appointed Official serving the constituents of Jackson County, Michigan. The County Administrator is appointed by and reports to the County Board of Commissioners.
