The Jackson County Animal Shelter will be closed to the PUBLIC on Thursday, May 30 from 1:00PM - 5:00PM. There will be activity going on as we are holding staff training and a ground breaking ceremony for the Cat Habitat Addition with The Friends of the Animals for the Jackson Area, Inc. These events are not open to the public. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 

As always, please call 911 for any animal emergencies or stray dogs. Regular business hours will resume at 10:00AM on Friday, March 31.
